PHOENIX (KSAZ) -

Caught on camera, a couple of crooks broke through the ceiling of a Phoenix pawn shop and these guys were on a mission.

According to the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms the suspects stole 36 guns from a Phoenix pawn shop phoenix pawn shop. Silent Witness and the ATF both offering rewards.

That's because they are concerned about where these guns may be headed. In the surveillance video you see three suspects who got into the building through the roof and one of the cameras good a very good look at them.

The break-in happened Monday morning at the E-Z-Money Pawn Shop near I-17 and Glendale.
For some reason it didn't immediately trigger the alarm so the three suspects were able to go in three times over the course of three hours.

There were other weapons in the building but for these three were only after handguns. Investigators say there's a chance they weapons could be headed to the border and drug cartels.

"They have to acquire guns. Certainly the U.S. is no stranger, the south-west border in particular, for being a gun locker if your will being able to obtain guns here through the secondary market. Though illegally purchasing guns and also stealing guns." said Tim Mangan with ATF.

Of the three suspects, one is wearing something over his face, the camera got pretty clear shots of the other two. If you recognize them, call Silent Witness. Combined, Silent Witness & the ATF are offering a $6,000 reward.

Investigators want to find these suspects and the handguns before they end up on the black market and in the wrong hands.
