KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) - Two men jailed for more than two years in the 2010 killing of another man have been released from custody pending their separate trials.

The Kingman Daily Miner reports that Casey Fessenden and Norman Curley were released late last year because of delays in starting their trials.

Both men were arrested in late 2011 after authorities recovered a rifle used in the April 12, 2010 killing of Christopher Gillespie.

The U.S. Constitution entitles criminal defendants to speedy trials, but the trials of Fessenden and Curley were delayed for various reasons.

Each is charged with first-degree murder.
