Video: Man Robs Frankford Restaurant

Police are looking for identify a man who robbed the Great City Restaurant in Frankford.

15th District Police responded to a robbery call at 10:20 p.m. on February 6 at 5100 Frankford Avenue.

After officers arrived, they learned from employees that the suspect entered the restaurant and climbed over the counter attempting to open the cash register. After employees attempted to stop the suspect, the suspect punched an employee and fled the scene. The incident was captured on camera.

The suspect was last seen running south on Frankford Avenue toward Pratt Street.

The video shows the suspect who appears to be a 45-50 year-old black male with brown complexion at 6'4", 230 lbs. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and knit hat.
