CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A local rapper with big aspirations told FOX 32 News his talent will get him there, without taking to YouTube or social media, which is what many other artists have done in the past.

Chuuuch says he's a rapper who knows the game, so get used to hearing about him and his style of rap.

"I felt a tear falling down my cheek and heard my bird call my name out, before the undertaker put the flame out," Chuuuch said.

Chuuuch just completed his first single album after working with Chicagoan and R&B singer R-Kelly.

"When you're the best and you've learned from the best, and you're the best of the best, you just go ahead and put it out above all the rest," said Chuuuch.

Because of the success some stars have had on the Internet, a lot of performers and entertainers-to-be have showcased their talents on YouTube.

It worked for artists' such as Justin Bieber and Chief Keef, but Chuuuch said he doesn't like the way they became famous.

He also said that many views and hits can devalue or minimize the work.

"I don't want to just throw it out there on YouTube and it just be getting old…I want mine up there on MTV and BET and VH1 and Fuse and all of them," said Chuuuch.

To get there and make it big, a New York record producer tells FOX 32 News that YouTube and social media sites are still the best ways to get spotted by major recording labels.
