(WJBK) -

A local store appearing to be firebombed was caught on surveillance video. A 40 oz. filled with gasoline was thrown onto the Sav-A-Lot on Gratiot Avenue's roof just after 3 a.m. on Thursday.

The store's owner, Steve Kallabat, says workers at the business next door saw the flames and called the fire department. The fire was extinguished but the power at the grocery store was knocked out.

An employee says this is the second time the store would have caught fire. Kallabat says, if the property would have burned, the store would have shut down and not been able to reopen again. "This is the last time," he says.

A $10,000 reward is being offered to the person who leads police to an arrest.

The suspect is wearing a distinguishable jacket in the video that has a big, dark-colored circle on the back.
