4 armed suspects allegedly invade home, tie up residents

Posted: Updated:

Police are looking for four men armed with guns who allegedly forced their way into a home near 7th Avenue and Glendale and tied up its occupants.

Phoenix police Sgt. Tommy Thompson says a man was on his way home from a friend's house when he noticed he was being followed.

When he pulled up to his house, four men allegedly forced him back into his car and made him drive to various banks.

Afterward, they returned to the home where his brother was sleeping and woke him up.

Thompson says suspects then tied up the brothers, ransacked their home and got away with several items.

The suspects fled in the brothers' cars.

The two people eventually freed themselves and called officers.

The cars are described as a silver 2004 Mercedes with license plate 695 PWZ and a gold 1995 Lexus with license plate BAG 7184.

The suspects are described as Hispanic males, possibly in their 20s.

Thompson says the men are armed with handguns.

If you have any information, you're asked to call 911.

Thompson encourages anyone who feels like they're being followed to drive on main roads and stay on the line with a 911 operator while they direct officers to your location.
