TAYLOR, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police say a man in his 20s is now in custody, ending a barricaded gunman situation.

The situation began when a tenant threatened his landlord with a gun. This caused police to surround the home on the 22,000 block of Wick Road, and also block off the area near Wick and Monroe roads.

Police say they were called to the house earlier Thursday after the landlord went to discuss an issue with the tenant. That's when he pulled out a gun and threatened her, police say. She escaped and called police.

Prior to the man turning himself in to Taylor Police, several other occupants came out of the house safely.

He is expected to face charges Friday.

No one was injured.
