Airman Reunites With His Family In Surprise Homecoming

LANGHORNE, Pa. -

A St Patrick's Day Sesame Place surprise.

Grinning families in green stream into a special dinner with Big Bird, Zoey, Cookie Monster, and Elmo.

But there there's one more… a very special guest behind the curtain.

Airforce Technical Sergeant Justin Bright is home early from the latest of 5 tours in Afghanistan.

His 4 year old son Gerrin sat beside his mom Tiffany without a clue that this moment was 7 months in the making

To celebrate his return home, the airman wanted to surprise his family in a big way and it worked!

"I'm so surprised. I was expecting him home on Monday. I was not expecting this. This is amazing to me. I am so happy," said his wife, Tiffany.

She continues, "this has been a long haul for us and it's been a rough year so it's great to have him home."

Sergeant Bright will be home for about a year until his next possible deployment.

He says he's going to spend a lot of time with his family.

Sesame place serves as the backdrop for a special surprise homecoming.

An airman returning from Afghanistan enlisted the help of his furry friends to greet his wife and young son.
