Camden K9 Officers Receive Bullet Proof Vests

CAMDEN COUNTY, N.J. -

Camden County Police Department received a donation of two bullet proof vests for their two K9 officers, Zero and Achilles, this past Saturday.

The custom fitted vests for the dogs are valued a $1,450 each and were donated by the nonprofit organization Canine Wounded Heroes.

 Camden County Police Sergeant Zsakhiem James and his partner Zero hold the record for most apprehensions (66) by a police K9 unit in New Jersey history.

Four additional vests are also being donated for four police dogs that will be joining the department later this year.
