A local t-shirt company is poking fun at metro Detroit's growing pothole problem.

They're using a spin on the popular Pure Michigan campaign to make their point.

The shirt dons the phrase, "Pure Potholes - Your trip begins, but won't end without a flat tire."

The font of the writing is also similar to that seen in the Pure Michigan campaign.

The company Alternative Hero makes the shirt. The makers unveil a new, limited-edition shirt every Monday. The shirts usually have a funny take on local pop culture at the time around metro Detroit.

The shirts are only available until the following Sunday.

So, if you're interested in the pothole shirt - act fast!
