(WJBK) -

A baby sitter has been sentenced for crashing a car taken without permission from a home where she was supposed to be looking after an infant.

Natalie Krisfalusi stole the Kulis' family car, drove to a local pharmacy and bought prescription drugs. She then drove from Rochester Hills to West Bloomfield, plowing down stop signs while she was under the influence and eventually crashed in Farmingtom Hills where she was arrested.

She told police she did not know where the infant was she was baby-sitting.

Police later found the 8-month-old child alone and unharmed inside the family home.

An Oakland County Circuit Judge sentenced Krisfalusi, 26, to five months in jail, a sentence to run concurrent with her 90-day sentence from West Bloomfield. She was also given two years probation and will pay more than $2,000 to the Kulis family for restitution.
