Science of sexy dancing

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - There's legendary dancing made famous by John Travolta. Then there's skilled, precise moves performed at SoHo's Dance with Me studios. And, then there's "dancing with the star"… me. It was so good it made me sweat. And made me wonder: what catches a woman's eye about a man dancing?

It turns out there's a science to dancing discovered by a group of British researchers. They used real male dancers to create avatars and then asked women what they thought of the movements.

Turns out, this is not sexy. Thankfully, not how I dance.

Researchers say what is sexy is men who showed larger and more variable movements of the head, neck and torso, and -- listen carefully all you guys -- those who moved their legs, bending and twisting their right knee (not to be confused with the left one).
