PHOENIX (KSAZ) -

Three people are in the hospital after being injured in a crash that involved a Valley Metro bus.

Phoenix Police say that a woman driving a Thunderbird coupe was traveling south on Cave Creek Road when something caused her vehicle to drive in front of the bus.

The crash broke her vehicle into two pieces with the rear of the car striking another vehicle.

Two people were taken to the hospital from the bus and the woman was rushed with extremely critical injuries.

Investigators have Cave Creek closed while they investigate the crash.
