Stephanie Edwards: Pet Orphans of Southern California

Posted: Updated:

Stephanie Edwards, a Longtime Supporter of Pet Orphans of Southern California, drops in on FOX 11's 'Good Day L.A.'

We don't usually see TV personality, Emmy Award nominee and co-host of the Tournament of Roses Parade Stephanie Edwards in April – We're used to seeing her every January 1st in the early morning chill in Pasadena, California awaiting the floats of the Rose Parade.  But on Wednesday, April 2nd, Stephanie dropped by 'Good Day L.A.' for a litte "Edwards and Edwards" time with Steve Edwards (no relation).

Stephanie is a longtime volunteer and supporter of Pet Orphans of Southern California, and brought along two of her four-legged furry friends to talk about the importance of adopting shelter dogs.

Pet Orphans is a nonprofit animal care center in Van Nuys that's been rescuing and placing dogs and cats in homes for over 41 years.

Pet Orphans is dedicated to the advancement of companion animal welfare and to combating overpopulation, abandonment and the need for euthanasia. Pet Orphans also provides broad community support through diverse services such as a Good Samaritan program, the "Wag'N Whiskers Pantry" to help pet parents feed their animals, counseling, grooming, pet supplies and low-cost dog training.   They will also open a low-cost spay/neutering clinic later this year.
