Posted: Updated:

A man was allegedly shot during a verbal fight at an apartment complex near 57th Avenue and Camelback on Friday morning.

Glendale police say they got calls about shots fired at an apartment just before 5 a.m.

Three to four people were reportedly involved in a verbal fight in an apartment complex parking lot.

Police believe one of the people took out a gun and fired one shot at a man in his late teens or early 20's.

The man was declared dead at the scene.

One witness told FOX 10, "When they were arguing.. the words were 'this is not how we do business' and then they took him behind the vehicle and shot him in the head."

Glendale police spokesperson Tracee Breeden says they are still trying to identify the victim.

The suspect left in a dark colored sedan and is described as a Hispanic or black male, early 20's, 5'11" tall, 160 lbs and was wearing white tank top shirt and shorts.
