A neighbor helped stop two alleged burglars in a neighborhood near Crismon Road and Guadalupe Road.

Mesa police say a neighbor was leaving to go to work on March 28 when they saw two men get out of a vehicle and attempt to break into mail boxes nearby.

Shortly afterward, officers found a vehicle matching the description backed into a driveway in the area.

A man was seen allegedly placing items into the trunk before he spotted officers.

Police say the man ran into the home where the vehicle was parked and then two men were seen jumping the back wall of the home.

A perimeter was set up and 22-year-old Treshon Marcellus and 18-year-old Anthony King were both arrested.
