Georgia Tech to kick-off spring game despite bad weather

ATLANTA -

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will play their annual spring scrimmage game Friday night. Poor weather conditions are predicted for the Atlanta area, but according to the athletic website the game is expected to kick-off as scheduled.

According to the athletic site, pre-game activities are expected to begin at 5 p.m. with kick-off inside Bobby Dodd Stadium starting at 7 p.m. The fireworks show that was scheduled for after the game has been canceled.

Georgia Tech Athletics wants fans to be aware that normal gameday security measures will be in place. Food, non-alcoholic beverages and umbrellas will all be allowed inside of the stadium.

Admission to the game is free and all seating is open on a first come, first serve basis. On-campus parking is available at no-charge and will open at 5 p.m.
