NEW JERSEY (MYFOXNY.COM) - An overnight fire caused significant damage to a Carlstadt, N.J. post office.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday at 331 1st Street.

The fire went to three alarms before being put under control shortly after 4 a.m. Carlstadt, Moonachie, Wood-Ridge and Hasbrouck Heights fire departments all responded.

There were reportedly a few minor injuries to firefighters.

The cause of the fire hasn't been determined.

A postal worker told Fox 5 News that very little mail is stored at the office overnight. It is usually delivered during the day.

Prosecutors in Arizona say they will not file charges in the death of a firearms instructor who was showing a vacationing 9-year-old New Jersey girl how to fire a fully automatic Uzi machine gun. The gun recoiled and Charles Vacca was shot in the head. Shooting ranges with high-powered weapons have become popular attractions in Hawaii and Las Vegas. They draw bachelor parties, newlyweds and tourists from countries that bar citizens from many types of guns.
