Police Search For Suspect In Attempted Abduction Of 16-Year-Old Student

Posted: Updated:
COLLINGDALE, Pa. -

Collingdale Police are trying to find a man they believe tried to abduct a 16- year-old student at Academy Park High School.

Fox 29's Chris O'Connell reports.

Part of the incident was caught on video, and police want you to see it

Police say a black Nissan, seen in the video, followed a 16-year-old girl home from school Tuesday afternoon.

The girl reports the man asked her how old she was, and then told her "You always look good."

Then she says the man opened his trunk to "show her something."

The video was captured during a second encounter minutes later and 2 blocks away.

That Nissan pulls in to a parking spot. Watch the man in the corner of the screen, he opens his trunk again, scurries around his car, and seconds later you see a girl walk across Ash Street.

Luckily, the girl kept walking, went home, and her parents called police.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, 5-3 to 5-5. medium complexion and heavy build.

He's also described as having yellow crooked teeth and a thin mustache. Police say the suspect was driving a black Nissan, most likely an Altima.

If you know this person, please call Collingdale Police.
