Actress Cassi Davis will never forget the day she met Tyler Perry. She was appearing in a play and he asked her if she'd be interested in appearing in one of his productions. She had no idea who he was...and her immediate response? "I said, oh, no, thank you. No."
Thankfully for Davis, she reconsidered, and has since collaborated with Perry many times. For several years, Davis starred as Ella Payne in the long-running TV series "Tyler Perry's House Of Payne," a role which made her an NAACP Image Award winner. She also plays Aunt Bam in "Tyler Perry's Madea's Neighbors From Hell" -- which has just been released on DVD.
Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken got the rare opportunity to visit Tyler Perry Studios and sit down with Davis (who's also a Spelman grad) inside Perry's screening room to chat about her life and career. Click the videos above to check out the hilarious interview!
