We Hear Your Voice

Posted: Updated:

Music has the power to unite us. It magically reaches across all cultures, boundaries and languages.

Certain songs spread powerful stories and carry messages of inspiration and joy.

Recording artist Shani Rigsbee had that in mind when she gathered a group of talented international stars and got them to contribute their voices into a wonderful project.

"We Hear Your Voice" sends a strong message- a message of peace, hope and harmony.

“We Hear Your Voice” originally debuted in 2012 before a live audience at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles to a 5 minute standing ovation. Not long after, the artists were invited to perform the song the Dalai Lama in a major peace concert with some of the world's biggest musical talents.

The song is performed in English by all of the artists, but their native languages are subtlety intertwined throughout the song. The message is simple- we all have a voice and don’t have to be silent. At the end of the day we are all connected despite our differences.

After years of hard work this charity single, along with the music video will be internationally released on Wednesday, March 12th, 2014.

A short documentary accompanies the music video, which includes footage of the artists' recording sessions and interviews. Link to music video: http://youtu.be/KZTQwGRV7Uc

I had the chance to demo Samsung's Gear VR recently. It's a virtual reality headset powered by a smartphone. Don't let that fool you though. It's impressive!
