Cuatro de Mayo Block Party

Posted: Updated:
West Hollywood, CA -

Tortilla Republic West Hollywood continues the tradition of its wildly popular "Viva La Fiesta" block party on Sunday, May 4. The modern Mexican restaurant is dusting off sombreros to celebrate an epic Cuatro de Mayo, as they transform the lot behind the West Hollywood Library and West Hollywood Park into a scene set for celebration. From 2-10 p.m., the restaurant and bar will host a lively Mexican fiesta, which will feature the sounds of world renowned DJs Corey Craig, Aaron Elvis and Dan Knapp. There will be a dance floor, live mariachi band, multiple outdoor bars, $6 margaritas, and Mexican small plates. The restaurant will also serve Mexican street corn on the cob called "Esquitas" with lime and garlic aioli, cotija cheese, and chile de arbol; Flautas de Pollo with a crispy flour tortilla.

A portion of the proceeds from the block party will benefit Project Angel Food. For tickets: www.tortillarepublic.com
