Man sought after attempted sexual assault of U-M student

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WJBK) - Police in Ann Arbor are asking the public's help identifying a man who may have been involved with an attempted sexual assault.

A 22-year-old woman who lives in the Sterling 411 Lofts Building on E. Washington Street says a strange man followed her to her apartment at approximately 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

The suspect is described as a college-aged white male between the height of 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall.

Police say the suspect was also seen in the area of Maynard and Liberty streets before the attempted assault.

Police are not releasing further details, saying it could interfere with the investigation.
