Couple Reunited With Their Pup After He Was Lost In Hurricane Sandy

Posted: Updated:
MONMOUTH COUNTY, N.J. - It's a miracle a year and a half in the making!

Chuck and Elicia James are reunited with the family dog they lost in super storm Sandy!

"Reckless”, their terrier pit-bull mix, ran away when they lost a fence in the storm.

After searching for months, they gave up hope.

Then last week ,they went to the Monmouth county SPCA  to adopt a new dog.

"Reckless" was the first pet they looked at!

SPCA officials say he was found as a stray last October.
