Police Conduct Warrant Sweep In Lower Bucks County And Northeast Philadelphia

Posted: Updated:

Northeast Philadelphia-News cameras were rolling, as police rolled out at the crack of dawn, on a huge warrant sweep in Lower Bucks County and Northeast Philadelphia.

Fox 29’s Joyce Evans has the report.

Police say they rounded up only 9 out of 58 arrest warrants they tried to serve.

However, police are not complaining. They say they're happy to have those felons locked up.

Bensalem police led a group of about 20 officers going house to house, searching for thieves, drug dealers, robbers, assault suspects and more.

And they were ready for somebody who might try to run or fight back.

Their biggest issue was they had bad addresses or no one of home.

One of their Most-Wanted, Louis Scott of Philadelphia was not caught today.

"He's wanted for multiple offenses. He's also known to be affiliated with gangs, and is considered armed and dangerous there are warrants out for gun possession and other violations," said Bensalem Township Police Director Fred Harran.

Police last caught up with him recently during a car stop, but he got away.

They’re asking for your help to track down Louis Scott and the others.

Investigators say they are hearing from some of the suspects now, calling-in and asking how they can turn themselves in.
