Suspected Shooter Posted 'Rambling' Manifesto (WARNING: Strong language)

Nineteen-year-old Gefen Laredo says he was eating with friends across the street when shots were fired. He ran to help.

"I ran across the street to see if someone was hurt. I ended up seeing a body on the ground in a big pool of blood," Laredo said.

"I think one of the reasons I was in so much shock was considering it's only one driver. It's more practical for him to turn left. If he had turned left it would have been me and my friends," Laredo said.

Alleged Shooter Elliot Rodger posted a YouTube video detailing his plans less than 24 hours beforehand.

"I'll take to the streets of isla vista and slay every person I see there. All those popular kids who live such lives of hedonistic pleasure while I've had to rot in loneliness all these years," Rodger said in his video.

Cassie a freshman at UCSB says her friend was one of the injured. "He was shot four times," Cassie said.

"He still has one bullet in his lower back and he was shot right next to his heart, but it's okay. They got the bullet out,"Cassie said

"It's completely devastating, I feel like the boy who did that, completely insane. Apparently he lived underneath my friend and, I wouldn't necessarily call him crazy. I think he was a very angry person," Cassie said.
