PEORIA, Ariz. - Friends and family of a man who died in an accident on the Carefree Highway are upset after a roadside memorial setup in his honor vanished.

The family says that someone cleared it out and took special items with them earlier this week.

A memorial was placed by the family and friends of Michael Gonnella after he died in a motorcycle crash along the carefree highway.

Anyone with information on who may have taken the memorial is asked to reach out to the family at mohyde@yahoo.com.
