FORT BRAGG, N.C. (AP) - The Department of Defense says an Army captain based at Fort Bragg has died in Afghanistan.
Officials said Tuesday that 29-year-old Capt. Jason B. Jones of Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, died on Monday in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, of wounds received from small-arms.
A statement said the incident is under investigation.
Jones was assigned 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg.
