Assistance needed to identify serial bank robber

DETROIT (WJBK) -- FBI and local police are asking for the public's assistance to identify a serial bank robber.

The alleged serial bank robber has hit locations in Lathrup Village, Berkley, Oak Park, Centerline, and Dearborn.  The FBI is working to investigate the robberies with the local police departments.

The suspect may be driving a dark-colored SUV.  He is believed to have committed at least eight robberies in the Detroit area between March and May of this year.

There is a $5-thousand dollar reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspected bank robber.
