Black Bear Startles Park Visitors In Minnesota

Posted: Updated:

PAUL BUNYAN PARK, MN- A big black bear was spotted wandering around a park in Minnesota Friday morning.

Several people saw the animal and frantically called 911.

Seems like the bear is a fan of lumberjacks, as he was spotted walking around the famous Paul Bunyan statue at the park!

But when he saw pedestrians, he became spooked, and decided to hide in a small wooded area.

Eventually, authorities tranquilized the bear.

He was released at a nearby state forest soon after.
