20 years after Simpson chase, victim's sister releases book

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Waiter Ron Goldman was 25-years-old when he was killed along with Nicole Brown Simpson, the ex-wife of former NFL star O.J. Simpson.

Twenty years later, Goldman's sister says she has not forgiven O.J. Simpson who was acquitted in their murders.

"I can’t forgive someone for stabbing my brother to death. Instead, I have good coping skills. To me, I’ve managed my anger appropriately," said Kim Goldman.

She has written a new book-  'Can't Forgive: My Twenty Year Battle with O.J. Simpson'- about the ordeal and how she still struggles with the pain of losing her brother.

"Forgiveness and closure are different things to me… at any given moment it’s on our television screens," said Goldman.

In the book she writes about how far she's come despite her loss and hopes others will realize they can continue to thrive without a lost loved one.

"I want people to read it because I want to have a conversation about forgiveness and healing and growth.  I’m really proud of how far I’ve come.. I’m raising a great kid and I have this great career," said Goldman.
