We often talk about supporting the men and women serving in our military. But it’s also important to support their spouses. The non-profit group Pin-Ups for Vets has been helping military families for nine years. Founder Gina Elise offered a free head-to-toe makeover to a woman who’s serving our country of a spouse of a service member. The woman chosen was Rosalyn Roman. Her husband is an eight-year Navy vet who was just promoted to first class petty officer. They recently had a four-year-old son. They showed off Rosalyn’s new look to Phil Shuman and Christine Devine.
Gina Elise is the founder of Pin Ups for Vets. She raises money with her World War II-style calendar to help veterans with their medical costs. She is traveling the country visiting vets at medical hospitals bring them care packages and gifts.
