Arrest Made In Fatal Camden Hit And Run

CAMDEN, N.J. -

According to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office Facebook page an arrest has been made in the fatal hit and Run that took place Saturday night.

Camden County Prosecutor Mary Coloalillo and Police Chief Scott Thomson reported that 61-year-old Jose Sosa of Camden has been charged as a result of the incident.

Sosa has been charged with leaving the scene of a fatal collision, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and leaving an endangered victim.

He is being held at the Camden County Jail on $85,000 bail.

Sosa was allegedly driving a 1991 white Ford Econoline van that struck Alfredo Siguenza- Trejo, 39, of Camden, at 9:20 Saturday night.

A Camden County police officer spotted the can that matched the description given out from surveillance tape of the incident.

The officer pulled the van over around 3:30 Wednesday, and Sosa was taken to the Prosecutors Office where he was charged.
