The battle against cancer hit the shores of Larchmont, New York over the weekend.
Hundreds took the plunge to raise money for cancer research, prevention and treatmen as Swim across America held its annual open water swim across Long Island Sound.
More than 500 swimmers began their 2 kilometer journey at the Larchmont Yacht Club.
The Long Island Sound swim has been taking place for 22 years.
The ultimate goal is to find a cure for cancer.
The swimmers raised more than a million dollars.
