Each Wednesday and Sunday night on FOX 11 10 O'clock News, FOX 11's Christine Devine profiles children looking for loving families to call their own in "Wednesday's Child."
We work closely with Los Angeles' Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) in coordinating the "Wednesday's Child" stories, giving you a glimpse of each child's interests and dreams at some of their favorite places.
There are hundreds of foster children available for adoption through the DCFS at any given time. These children are in need of the love and security that only a permanent family can provide.
FOX 11 produces the "Wednesday's Child" stories with the support and sponsorship of the Freddie Mac Foundation, which has helped place children with adoptive homes since 1989.
If you want more information about the "Wednesday's Child" kids we've introduced you to, call this number: 866-921-ADOPT (866-921-2367).
You can also e-mail adoptions@dcfs.lacounty.gov for more details.
